RAINN Announces National Leadership Council Members

WASHINGTON—RAINN today announced the newest members of its National Leadership Council (NLC). The NLC comprises individuals who have demonstrated their commitment to RAINN’s mission of supporting survivors and ending sexual violence.

RAINN is the nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization and leading authority on sexual violence. RAINN created and operates the National Sexual Assault Hotline to help survivors of sexual violence and their loved ones. RAINN also carries out programs to prevent sexual violence and ensure perpetrators are brought to justice.

“It takes a community of dedicated individuals to end sexual violence. #MeToo has been a global catalyst for change, sparking conversation that has emboldened survivors across the nation and the world to speak out and ask for help in record numbers,” said Scott Berkowitz, president and founder. “We are grateful for the leadership of the members of our National Leadership Council and honored that they have chosen RAINN as their partner to create a future without sexual violence.”
