Kati Lake, Vice President

Kati N. Lake serves as the vice president of consulting services at RAINN, where she leads the organization’s consulting services and business development. Lake and her team partner with public and private entities, including federal partners, institutions of higher education, boarding and day schools, hospitality and amusement organizations, and other businesses, to provide sexual assault prevention and response hotline, consulting, program assessment, and training services.

Lake has a demonstrated history of providing strategic, operational, and tactical leadership for the development and management of complex, high-visibility projects.

Before joining RAINN, Lake was a lead associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, where she led small and large consultant teams in the design, development, execution, and evaluation of defense personnel policy, IT solutions, education and training, and identity management projects across the Department of Defense, including the Defense Suicide Prevention Office and Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office. Before that time, Lake served as a schedule C political appointee at the White House, providing support to the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness and Deputy Under Secretary for Military Community and Family Policy.

Lake graduated from Miami University (Oxford, Ohio) with degrees in political science and British literature with a focus on political communications and from Columbia University with a master's degree in clinical psychology with a concentration in global mental health and trauma.
