Join the “How Speak Spoke to Me” Creative Contest:
Our “How Speak Spoke to Me” Creative Contest allows kids to explore their feelings about Speak through whatever medium they’d like. Write a poem, sing a song, make a movie, or draw a picture. Any type of expression is worth being heard. Finalists will have their work displayed on both RAINN’s and Macmillan’s websites and via social media networks. Earn a school visit from Laurie:
Fundraise in your classroom, library or school for the #Speak4RAINN campaign. The group that raises the most money will win a school visit from Laurie Halse Anderson!Instructions, rules and restrictions:
Donations must be made no later than 11:59pm on April 30, 2013 directly through donate.rainn.org/speak. To donate to earn your school visit, go to donate.rainn.org/speak, check the “Laurie Halse Anderson’s school visit contest” box under the “My Gift Amount” section and enter your school's name in the box provided. Laurie can only visit schools located in the continental U.S., within one hour of a major airport. Visit will be made on a mutually agreeable date no later than July 1, 2013.
