Technology Access Project (TAP) Competition!

Printer-friendly versionSend to friend

RAINN’s Technology Access Project (TAP), launched last year, provides free websites, technology help and web content to hundreds of local rape treatment centers. More than 100 centers now rely on RAINN to provide website development, web hosting, email, e-newsletters and other tech services, along with live tech support.

For the month of July, all RCC's who have websites through RAINN are eligible to participate in our month long competition to win tons of cool prizes including national recognition in RAINN's newsletter as well as $100.00 Visa gift card to be used towards your center! Click here for more information or contact Maureen McNally at techinfo@rainn.org or 202.587.5355

To learn more about TAP, view these custom websites, or to sign up for the free web services, visit the TAP Help Center.

Family Crisis Shelter

The Family Crisis Shelter, located in Indiana, has worked with RAINN in building an extremely user-friendly and informative website. On their home page they have a custom made banner, information specific to their organization, and a 'Get Help' column with their local hotline, the National Sexual Assault Hotline, and the Online Hotline.

The Family Crisis Shelter's 'Donate' page is a well composed page that uses Google Checkout to receive tax deductible donations for their center. To start setting up your center's donation page, use our Donations Through Google Checkout page for step-by-step directions!

Dallas Area Rape Crisis Center

Dallas Area Rape Crisis Center, of Texas, has constructed an extremely educational and eye-catching website using RAINN's format, assistance, and support. As you can see, Dallas Area Rape Crisis Center chose to use a banner of their own that accents their logo which is placed on the top of their website. Below their banner is helpful information tailored to their center's mission.

On the bottom of each page, including the home page, you will notice a stop sign stating, "Click here to LEAVE THIS SITE IMMEDIATELY". If clicked, it will bring the individual directly to google.com in order to protect their viewing privacy. This is just one of the many features RAINN offers for each website made with us!
