"This year's RAINN Day was organized by the Office of Counseling and Pyschological Services and held in the Events and Athletics Center. Students were reminded that 'dating situations can get out of hand. Not all victims of sexual assault are dating their offender, but most do know their offender.' Alan Martell, Assistant Director of the department recognized this time of year as a great opportunity to reach freshman girls." ~ Lindsay Goldberg
"There was a great turnout of students at our Clothesline Project throughout the day. We also had many students sign our 'These Hands Won't Harm' pledge." ~ Patricia Troiano
"Fraternity Men Against Negative Environment and Rape Situations (otherwise known as Frat MANers) collected pledges from students on campus agreeing not to participate in sexual assault and/or violence. The goal was 400 pledges, and with hours left to go, we already had well beyond that. In addition to the pledges, tips on reducing the risk of assault, how to respond to assault and helping a friend were provided in handouts." ~ Randy Wacker
