Photos & Testimonials
After each RAINN Day, RAINN puts together photos and testimonials from you to share with future organizers so they can gain ideas about their own RAINN Day. If your campus has participated in RAINN Day, please send your photos and testimonials to the RAINN Day coordinator at rainnday@rainn.org to be featured on our website!
In 2010, RAINN worked with the Office for Victims of Crime to create new materials for RAINN Day participants. A Master Event Planning Guide, a College Brochure, and a new Social Norms Poster were added to RAINN's Digital Resource Guide - providing even more outreach materials for organizers to utilize.
In 2008, RAINN increased advertising to the general public through web-based marketing on Facebook and MySpace, including weekly bulletins and posting on college group pages, listservs, message boards, blogs, and email blasts to past participants.
In 2007, RAINN had a 65% increase in number of Get Carded cards ordered, as well as a marked increase in the number of high school and middle schools who received cards. RAINN also distributed over 14,000 posters targeting college age men to approximately 150 colleges.
In 2009, RAINN created new materials such as up-to-date Get Carded cards, Statistic handouts and posters, while also upgrading the Multimedia page where RAINN Day participants could download these materials along with Public Service Announcements and Web Banners.
In 2006, RAINN initiated an outreach campaign to college Greek communities including University Pan-Hellenic Councils at the Top 100 Schools, and all national Sororities and Fraternities. Through an agreement with the Feminist Majority Alliance, over 250,000 Get Carded cards were mailed to 225 collegiate chapters.
